An organized crime ring has targeted construction sites, El Paso, Texas, police said last week. Police report 86 equipment thefts over the past year, mostly from Lower Valley construction sites, including bulldozers and skid-steer loaders.

Police suspect the heavy equipment is being loaded onto the backs of flatbed trailers and sold in Mexico.
