Oregon Rental Company Fined for Waste Infractions

Oregon’s Department of Ecology has fined Glenn Kincaid Construction Inc. and GK Equipment Rentals $10,000 for allegedly mishandling hundreds of gallons of toxic and flammable wastes, the Associated Press reported recently.

The department said the company spilled hazardous liquids onto the ground, poured them down a sink drain and sent the rest to the wrong kind of waste handler.

GK Equipment Rentals is based in Camas, Ore.
