Arkansas Rental Sales & Service Co., the Volvo Rents franchise for the central Arkansas market, recently moved into its new 12,000-square-foot facility in Little Rock.

The company opened in June 2003 in a temporary facility pending completion of its new state-of-the-art facility, which celebrated its grand opening Nov. 4 with more than 500 people in attendance. Guests enjoyed fried catfish and chicken plus all the trimmings.

Volvo Rents representatives in attendance included Bud Howard, Steve Smith, Kirk Myers, Julie Rubio and Jeff Alley. In addition to equipment for the construction, industrial and homeowner market, owners of Arkansas Rental Sales & Service, R.C. Coburn, Troy Dodd and Buddy McGinty, are currently adding additional fleet to meet the needs of customers. Future plans are to open a store on Pine Bluff in the spring of 2005.
