Aggreko Fills Management Posts

Aggreko last week filled senior management positions in two of its North American operational areas. Mark Murphy joined the company as vice president and area general manager of Aggreko’s Great Lakes area and John Hofmeyer was appointed central area sales manager.

Murphy will oversee the company’s service centers in Charleston, W. Va.; Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Detroit. He was most recently vice president and general manager of Ashland Hardware Systems. Hofmeyer will be responsible for sales functions at Aggreko service centers in Calvert City, Ky.; Dallas, Kansas City, Mo.; Memphis, Tenn.; Oklahoma City and St. Louis. He has 18 years of experience in the rental industry and most recently served as Midwest District Sales Manager for NES Rentals. Hofmeyer served in management positions with Brambles Equipment before it was acquired by NES, including as national accounts manager.

Headquartered in Scotland, with U.S. headquarters in New Iberia, La., Aggreko, which specializes in rental of temporary power, temperature control and compressed air systems, is No. 12 on the RER 100.
