During its recent meeting, the American Rental Association’s board of directors re-affirmed New Orleans as the site of The Rental Show for February 2007. A representative of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau met with the board, announcing the majority of hotels anticipate being fully operational and receiving guests by Jan. 1, 2006. The city also anticipates that the convention center will re-open for business by March 31, 2006, with all new carpet, furnishings and interior surfaces.

“The members of the ARA want to show their support for the people of New Orleans and this commitment by the board offers the greatest opportunity to give our exhibitors and attendees the best possible show in 2007,” said Allen Morehead, ARA president.

The Rental Show is scheduled for Feb. 12-15, 2007, in New Orleans.
