February 1, 2012: Case Triple Threat Rodeo Entertains Attendees at World of Concrete
Case Construction Equipment drew crowds to its outdoor booth throughout the World of Concrete in Las Vegas Jan. 23-26, with the finals of its Triple Threat Rodeo Championships. In the end, Octavio Miranda, of Ancaster, Ontario, was named the winner. December 1, 2011: Re-Rented Bronto Used at 185 Feet in Cooling Tower
Acme Lift, the world’s largest re-rental company, rented a Bronto Skylift S236 HLA to United Rentals, whose customer -- American Electric Power Cardinal Power Plant in Brilliant, Ohio – had to inspect and repair coating. The unit was delivered early and the crew finished its work in two days.

November 1, 2011: IPAF launches first safety messages in Chinese
Clunk Clink! Aerial safety is a must in any language and the International Powered Access Federation is spreading its message around the world in multiple languages, including Chinese. With a series of videos and stickers, IPAF is spreading its message promoting the usage of full-body harnesses on boom-type platforms (pictured) as well as the proper assessment of ground conditions on jobsites and the correct use of stabilizers, outriggers and spreader plates.

November 5, 2011: Atlantic Hoisting and Scaffolding & One World Trade Center Building
Atlantic Hoisting and Scaffolding is providing hoists and mast-climbing work platforms for construction of the projected 1,776-foot-tall One World Trade Center building in New York City. RAXTAR is the supplier of 13 Model RX3245 hoists in use on the structure and Hydro Mobile supplied a custom-designed common tower mast-climbing work platform that runs six days a week transporting 1,300-1,400 workers daily.

September 27, 2011: Trico Lift helps Painter Rehab Lucy
Trico Lift, a privately owned aerial lift provider in Texas and the Mid-Atlantic markets, recently sent this boomlift to Margate, N.J., to help a commercial painter gain access to rehab Lucy, a national historic landmark and the world’s largest elephant. The wooden structure stands 65 feet high, 60 feet long, 18 feet wide, and weighs about 90 tons.

July 26, 2012: Manitowoc and Grove Cranes making Upgrades to Lambeau Field
The Pack is Back!
One of the most iconic sports stadiums in the U.S. is getting a face lift as a crew of Manitowoc and Grove cranes help to expand and upgrade Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers football team. The cranes are lifting structural steel and precast panels for the stadium’s new scoreboards, as well as placing modules for seating, escalators, elevators and more.
